read moreThere are many ways or best ways of adapting to a new culture.
Moving abroad alone or with your family, no matter where you are going and whether or not it’s the first time, is a real challenge. Cultural communication and adaptation can be confusing and unpredictable.
Being aware of the difficulties that may arise, such as feeling alone, insecure, or lost, is a good help, but being capable of pinpointing your challenges and finding your intrinsic motivations to turn them into a successful and meaningful experience is the key.
The workshop aims to understand better what culture, your cultural codes and perceptions are and how they can impact our daily interactions. But also how to recognize, navigate and best handle cultural differences in professional/personal environments, thanks to the cultural dimensions that define how cultures communicate.
Through concrete exercises, let’s be creative, think outside the box, and brainstorm ways to empower you as a unique individual, unlock the endless possibilities of finding balance and happiness, and, who knows, reinvent yourself through this relocation life journey.
As Fons Trompenaars said, “We believe understanding our culture/assumptions/expectations about people “should” think and act is the basis of success”.
