Dr. Faris Allehyani is a product of multiculturalism as he was born in Mecca, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition, he has extensive practical and theoretical of intercultural communications, having lived, worked and studied in major economies around the world.
Faris is a teacher, intercultural trainer and researcher with a PhD in Intercultural Communication and two Masters degrees, one in Intercultural Communication, and one in Applied Linguistics. He has over 16 years’ experience of teaching English language in Saudi Arabia. His broad array of expertise and depth of skills in the development of intercultural communication competence and cross-cultural psychology and teaching English to speakers of other languages. He is the founder of OITER, the Organization of Intercultural Training, Education and Research. Currently, Faris’s work is centered on teaching and research projects in the development of intercultural communication competence of international students. He has presented his works at international conferences.
