Russians: from strangers to soulmates. Understanding the Russian mind, spirit and soul

The workshop will give you key insights about Russian culture and values that shape modern Russian mindset, communication styles and social ways of behaviour. 

Some of the questions that we will tackle during the workshop: 

  • What are the different generations in Russia today? What are their unique traits? 
  • What are the specific communication patterns of modern Russians?  
  • Are there any western habits that would seem strange or unattractive to Russians, and the other way round?  
  • Why shouldn’t you sit on the table around Russians?..

Trainer:

Originally from Russia, in the past 16 years Tatiana Tsymbal has lived and worked in France, the UK, China, the Czech Republic and now in Switzerland. She holds a BA in European Union Studies from Reading University, UK, and an MA in Intercultural Communication from Westminster University, London. 

Tatiana has worked internationally as a translator, educator and brand strategy consultant with a focus on intercultural marketing and research. This includes working on such brands as McDonald’s, Kimberly Clark and Swarovski. She also has extensive experience of working online and believes in effective remote collaboration and building strong and meaningful connections online.  Passionate about psychology and human behaviour, she aims to challenge stereotypes and encourage others to understand different cultures in order to improve communication and achieve better results. 

Tatiana speaks fluent Russian, English, Spanish and French. Most recently, she has started learning German.
